SEW-Eurodrive was founded in 1931 by Christian Pähr in Bruchsal and is today the world market leader in drive technology with 21,000 employees. The family-owned company produces over 10,000 gear motors daily. The MOVIGEAR unit combines motor, gearbox, and electronics, while MOVI-C forms the new automation platform. SEW is represented in over 50 countries and operates 17 manufacturing plants worldwide. The red SEW gear motor has become an industry standard.
